Le Boudoir Blow Dry Bar - Darien

It’s great place for quick hair fix - whenever I need to go or to be ready for an event- LeBoudoir is my first place to go! Everyone, who did my hair so far, definitely knew what they were doing, and my blow dry lasted for long time. I highly recommend this salon for someone on the go, and who wants to look great in short period of the time. Definitely 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hair salon. I am a mother of a newborn and was really looking forward to having a blowout for my first time out at night for a gala. My hair stylist blow dried my hair with a regular hair brush and didn’t even dry it through all the way. After counting, she touched the round brush a total of 4 times. My hair was completely flat with kinks and was wet underneath. After leaving, I went to another hair salon to have it completely rewashed and blown out. I do not recommend this place of business.

I scheduled a blowout as a treat for myself because I wanted to look nice at a wedding. Melanie was amazing, she really listened to what I wanted and was very conscientious about asking if it was ok to use certain products and all my style preferences. Can't wait to schedule with Melanie again.

The stylist wasn’t friendly. I asked her how long she had been there and she replied that it had been a long time and she didn’t seem happy about it. My suggestion to the salon is not to have her with a new client because she leaves little to be desired. Also, I had confirmation that I made a 1 PM appointment and even while I was there, I got an email confirming my 1 PM appointment but then I had a text saying my appointment was 1:15 PM. The system needs an update. When I asked a person that worked there what that was about she said that they go to lunch and that’s why my appointment was made for 1:15 PM. I didn’t get that explanation until I was physically there. I hate giving bad reviews, but I’m the type of consumer, that patronizes businesses that have good reviews, and I think it would be a disservice if I didn’t leave an honest one for this establishment.

Always a fan! Tamara is terrific. Quick, and amazingly styled. I have been a customer for years. I just wished New Canaan was still open. Awesome business!
